Life brings many difficulties and overwhelming feelings which can be hard to cope with, leaving you feeling unsure where to turn. Therapy helps you understand how you feel and find a way to move forward.
The important thing is to find a way that works for you. As a counsellor, integrative psychotherapist and registered art therapist, I offer you ways of working tailored to suit you.
In my clinical work I have addressed all kinds of issues that affect people’s day to day life and the way they cope. This includes working together on anxiety and panic attacks, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, eating disorders, trauma, life transitions, redundancy and physical health problems, amongst other issues.
If you would like to explore your situation and your feelings and talk about what is troubling you, I can offer you a confidential space to talk and be listened to. The sessions are accepting, supportive and understanding so that you can talk about whatever you need to.
The first meeting
This will give us an opportunity to meet and for you to ask any questions you have. I will invite you to say something about yourself and what has prompted you to seek therapy. We can also begin to explore how we might work together.
If we then agree to meet regularly, I am happy to work with you for an agreed number of sessions or in a more open-ended way. Each session lasts 50 minutes and sessions are usually weekly. If you have any questions about how I work, please do contact me.
